    IntroductionOrganizations are experiencing a rapid transformation in their environment, which has led them to reevaluate the way they do business. Economic changes, globalization and technological advancements have justified the need to adapt quickly to changes in the environment (Schneider, 2002). Organizational leadership has three general elements: setting the direction of the organization, organizational performance, and managing change (Johnson, 2011). It is essential for organizations to position themselves in this competitive market to succeed. To maintain a competitive advantage, an organization must study fluctuations in the environment and make necessary changes. Continually assessing the organization's strengths and weaknesses allows them to take strategic actions that lead to optimal results. Organizational performance management is important to ensure that the right people are in the right positions at the right time. Weaknesses must be identified and strengthened so that the organization's leadership can adapt to an ever-changing environment (Johnson, 2011).
