Essay / Analyze and explain the work of a Christian agency...
Tearfund is a Christian aid organization that works with various other churches to try to destroy poverty, transform unhappy lives and bring integrity and equality in this world. It was unofficially started by many Christian sympathizers who decided to send funds to the Evangelical Alliance which sent gifts of money, clothing and food to refugees around the world. Basically, the Evangelical Alliance was created to manage the aid that was to be given to refugees. Later, in 1968, the Tearfund organization was officially established when it changed the name from The Evangelical Alliance Relief Fund to Tearfund. From the beginning, Tearfund's aim was to meet the physical and religious needs of those who are disadvantaged and suffering from family and domestic violence. absolute poverty. All of this is made clear in Tearfund's mission statement: "To glorify God by extending his Kingdom in his ministry to the poor, oppressed and disadvantaged, and to encourage God's people around the world to live the values and principles of his Kingdom, by sharing with those of others. need." Furthermore, they follow this particular teaching from the Bible: “Seek righteousness and encourage the oppressed” - Isaiah 1:17. Tearfund carries out various works that help the unfortunate in difficult circumstances, such as to cope with various problems that arise when natural disasters occur, defeating diseases, restoring parts of the environment that are affected by climate change, getting to the bottom of financial inequality, and improving basic services to improve the lives of those who. do not have access to them Tearfund makes such efforts in these programs because they believe that the poor are those who are most affected by these circumstances, ...... middle of paper ...... in general, being one of the most successful and leading organizations in the world, I believe that Tear Fund has succeeded in improving many unhappy lives by simply following the teachings of the Bible. a great achievement and I hope Tearfund will partner with many other organizations who are also working to improve this rather corrupt world. If I had to ask three questions of someone who worked for Tearfund, I would ask them if they would at some point accept a non-Christian into their organization if they had the potential to contribute a lot, would they join d other religious groups to improve their situation. a certain community and my last question would be to ask them for their opinion on what they think each person should do regularly to improve this world.
