They say that everyone has their own twin somewhere in the world; someone else who may live a different life from them but is still very much like them. This is also true for Linda and Lenina in Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. The similarities and differences between the two women are very evident in the novel and both women can easily be compared to another. A very obvious similarity between the two main women in Huxley's novel is that they both enjoy having sex with many different men. Linda sleeps with many men, even after arriving at the wilderness reserve. She explains to Lenina that “one time a lot of women came and made a scene because their men came to see her” (Huxley 105), this shows that Linda had slept with quite a few men on the reservation. Lenina also sleeps with quite a few men; Henry Foster is actually relatively surprised that a predestining assistant hasn't gotten it yet: "I'm surprised you haven't gotten it" (Huxley 37).
