Why do we care about our appearance? Some will say it's because people will judge you more harshly, some will even go so far as to say "it's survival of the fittest." The most accurate answer is different from person to person due to this factor it is difficult to determine the definitive answer which in turn looks at the question “Representation of oneself” matters- Does it really matter more to others or does this idea matter more to yourself? » It is this question that is the true basis of how we present ourselves, our actions and even our thoughts, the connections to this are enough to keep us on tangents for days. These links and connections expand this question further. An idea that correlates all too well is that of the perennial and inescapable society in which we are forever captive, arising from mentality and connections to the main issue. It is this idea that allows for the development of more complex controversial ideas, which truly examine the perspectives and variables of everyday life, which go unnoticed. In contemporary society, appearance is a major dominant theme in the typical daily lives of many. This is reflected in the representation of our physical appearance and in the presentation phases that we go through each morning. For example, the reflection in the mirror is an exterior and an extension of you as an individual, this is evident when you stop talking but continue to think. Does it matter what you look like on the outside when we all look relatively similar on the inside? Yes, it is important, the representation of yourself on the outside is just as important, if not more, than qualities and emotions in today's modern times.
