I chose Saint Anthony for two things: what he is the patron saint of. The Anthony patronages I focus on are lost objects and animals. I focus on lost items because I lose things often, so I find myself praying to him a bit. The reason why Anthony is the patron saint of lost things is that one day, while he was in Bologna, he had a book of psalms. The book of Psalms was then stolen. After discovering this, Anthony prayed to God for it to be returned to him. The next day, the thief returned the book and Anthony was eternally grateful. I focus on animals because animals are a very big part of my life and they make me very happy. That's why I thank Anthony for watching over all my animals and keeping them safe.
