Essay / Analysis of the death penalty - 1296
The question of the death penalty has always been my favorite subject for any mission or debate. I've read several articles on the subject, but this one provided a lot of information I didn't know. I appreciated the way Von Drehle analyzed the problems facing the death penalty in the United States. Before reading this article, I had never thought about using judges as an excuse to abolish the system. It was interesting to read the opinions of different judges and how easily they can change. Whenever the subject of the death penalty came up, I was always the one debating it or writing against it. This article strengthened my views and beliefs on the abolition of death.
