    NZTC (2015) states that stress is one of the major factors that can affect a student's studies, due to the pressure of high demands on their time. Stress affects you mentally, socially and physically and has many negative side effects, including exhaustion, headaches, insomnia and loss of appetite. Stress is not good for your health or well-being, which is why it is important to identify the causes of stress and have strategies that will help manage stress. Going to the doctor for advice, doing research on the internet, and seeking help from student support are some of the strategies that can help you manage stress. (NZTC, 2015) There are many different measures you can use to reduce stress. The only problem is finding the ones that suit you. One such step I will use is to break your workload into smaller, manageable, and easily prioritized tasks. Another step might be to use physical activities to help relieve stress, or I might use yoga and breathing exercises to help control stress and help you relax.
