Taking responsibility is not easy because sometimes we fail to accept our faults and look for a new place or even a person to take responsibility for us. Most of the time, we readily recognize that it is easier to blame than accept responsibility and lean toward the easier option. However, we soon realize that it is only a matter of time, the burdens caused by not fulfilling our responsibilities will push us away and disturb us mentally or directly with bitterness. Responsibility can indeed be influenced by conscience, but during “The Crucible”, people's conscience put everything in difficulty, taking responsibility was not achieved. During the witch hunt, a huge number of people were executed. This witch hunt eventually led to the name farmer John Proctor. Even though he was accused of being the devil's man, he accepted responsibility to himself and tried to save his friends as well, even though he couldn't have them, but he realized his conscience and took matters into his own hands. accepted responsibility for his actions. Although many people have died during this season, many have stopped blaming themselves for being witches and have taken matters into their own hands since John and others were hanged..
