Jane Austen was an outstanding English author of romantic fiction novels. However, it was not until after Jane's life that she was recognized as a writer. Jane grew up in a large family with whom she was very close. She was greatly inspired by her family and, for this reason, wrote about situations related to everyday life. She was also a very innovative author; she helped shape new ways of writing in her works. By examining Jane's relationships, the dynamics of her writing, and the novels themselves, we will be able to gain a much broader understanding of Jane. Firstly, Jane had a fairly quiet childhood. His parents placed great emphasis on academic studies and encouraged their children to regularly indulge in their father's library. Although Jane lived a rather provincial life, thanks to the refined lifestyle of her brothers, she was able to experience exquisite things. For example, his brother Edward was adopted by their wealthy cousins, the Knights, and later became heir to their estate. When Jane spent time with her brother Edward, she could be a part of his luxurious world. Jane was also exposed to a great artistic culture from a young age. Jane visited her brother Henry in London and was able to attend theater productions, art exhibitions and social events which allowed her to rub shoulders with some very talented writers. The culture and experiences that Jane was exposed to during this time inspired her immensely and are reflected in her novels. Jane was also influenced by her relationships outside of her family. It is likely that she was arranged to marry Harris Bigg-Wither, a 21-year-old heir from a Hampshire family, but the next day Jane changed her mind. There are also many conflicting stories that lead us to believe that Jane... middle of paper ......o was capable of doing this while relating to the common man. Jane was even capable of writing incredible love stories without ever feeling great love for herself. Although Jane was not widely known during her lifetime, the impact of her novels continues to resonate today.
