    Have you ever felt like an outcast, an abnormal person in this world? Well, that’s most likely the case, we’ve all done it. We all felt a little strange and unable to find our rightful place. We tend to feel this way because we are simply misunderstood or, as Albert Camus would say, “outsiders” to society. The stranger is a man lost in his own world where no one understands him except himself. This man has been described as a monster, inhumane and even heartless, all because he chose not to express his emotions or feelings to the world. You may be wondering, what does this have to do with me? Well, you're about to find out why. In the novel “The Stranger” by Albert Camus, Meursault was portrayed as an ironic man, with qualities of a tragic and heartless hero, as he has no emotion to show to the world that would cost him his life. Well, to begin this story, Meursault first appeared in the story when he received a telegram announcing the death of his mother.
