Throughout this term, I participated as a student intern at Şht. Hüseyin Ruso Secondary School. During this internship, I had the chance to observe two English teachers in real classrooms. This provided me with valuable educational experience in the teaching field. Thus, I learned the finer details of teaching, including ways to improve my future teaching, how to maintain discipline in the classroom, how to plan successfully and also how to deal with student misbehavior. In this article, I will reflect all these things I learned. This internship program gave me a better understanding of the school environment and helped me learn more about teaching. The operation of Sht Hüseyin Ruso was linked to the Ministry of Education and it was managed in accordance with a curriculum established by the Ministry of Education. Before participating in this internship program, I thought teaching was an easy job. When I started, I was faced with the reality that teachers have many tasks to do. First, teachers must be like actors. They must serve as a role model for students. Second, they are responsible for creating a positive environment in which learning takes place, so they must maintain discipline in the classroom. In addition, they must develop lesson plans to achieve lesson objectives and organize time according to their lessons and...... middle of paper ...... ties and he encouraged students to speak in English. Even though their skill level was low, he used his body language and gestures to make everyone understand. He also used real materials to make them understand and thus attract their attention. I think I benefited from his experience. In my future teaching, I will follow his teaching techniques because he really taught me how to be a good English teacher. In conclusion, I learned a lot of things by distinguishing between two English teachers because one of them was a good teacher and the other unfortunately was not the case. I think it gave me a better chance to reflect on what I learned at university. After participating in this internship program, I felt capable of teaching the English language. I thought this internship would open many doors leading to my future.
