Essay / Letter to Aunt and Uncle - 430
Letter to Aunt and UncleDear Aunt Gladys and Uncle Jack, As usual, it was a wonderful surprise to hear from you once again. I honestly did my month, I enjoy talking with you and receiving very useful advice for my future education. My education standards are higher than ever, you'll be happy to know. My DT (design technology) teacher encouraged me to take other GCSE courses, for example: graphic design. Although this is a great opportunity to increase my learning level, it is also one more thing I have to worry about, I don't know what to do. My friends and I are top of the class in this subject but my greatest ambition is to become a lawyer. Having a GCSE in graphic design won't help me become one, so I think it might be a complete waste of time. But on the other hand, if I fail to achieve my dream, then I have something to fall back on, like a clothing designer or other interesting creative professions. I am trying extremely hard to make my dream a reality. Christmas has always been my favorite season of the year and this year it was a big success! I had everything I wanted and more. Thank you very much for my money, it has accumulated well in the bank. There is only one problem every time I put it on a few weeks later I take it off. I'm going to have to stop my bad spending habits! I got a new color phone because my old phone is what people would say: it was a "brick." My mom and dad brought me a fantastic sound system with surround sound for my room! This most incredible invention comes in handy when we throw parties, and that's only very occasionally. My other best friend's name is Snelly. Danielle and I are spoiled by him. A few weeks before Christmas, he took me to buy a gift. It surprised me when he bought a £20.
