    For a very long time, every American has had a dream, an American dream. What is an American dream, you ask? Well, what is your biggest goal in life? go to college to get your dream job, become a famous singer, buy a house or start a family? Well, this is your American dream. Our story begins with Katie, a current high school student. She has a big American dream; the one she has had since elementary school. His American dream is to attend The Ohio State University – Mansfield Branch to obtain his degree in education. When she was little, she played at school with her little brother and his stuffed animals; Katie would be the teacher and her stuffed animals and little brother would be the students. It was a hot summer day, birds were chirping, children were playing outside, the wind was blowing. Katie and some of her friends were at her house. They were in the pool, swimming and relaxing. “I can’t believe in a few weeks we’ll be juniors!” Katie exclaimed. “Yeah,” Elaina said. “It seems like it was just yesterday that I was in kindergarten.” “You were,” Morgan said with a chuckle. Morgan and Katie laughed. Elaina replied, "Okay, my helping at this summer school doesn't count Morgan." The three friends laughed. “I meant it seems like we started school recently and are now juniors in high school!” The next time we know, we'll be old and wrinkled! "Elaina is right," Katie thought. “Time passed so quickly. It seems like just yesterday that I was eating my snack during snack time at preschool. I can't believe that in a few years I will be going to college! » The day has finally arrived; the first day of Katie's freshman year of high school. She was happy to go back to school because she was going to see everything ...... middle of paper ...... ong. What is his problem? » Landon replied, “I have no idea? » The semester ended and Katie ended up with a C in Ms. Griffen's class. When she received her grade card for the first half of the year, Katie just shook her head and rolled her eyes. “I swear she probably gave me a C because she didn't like me,” Katie thought. “I guess I’m a little surprised she even gave me a C, but I deserved an A.” Katie finished her first year; she did her best and got all A's and B's. She really enjoyed her teaching professions class in the second semester. She liked the investment choice she made; she went to college all semester. Katie loved it so much that she said she was definitely going to take Teaching Careers II and III in her final year. Katie's senior year flew by and ended so quickly. It's like they say "Time flies when you're having fun!”
