You're guaranteed to have a super fantastic reading time! Let's talk about Dutch first. The most notable characteristics of the Dutch are their love of moderation and their respect for their laws. The Netherlands is home to many celebrities, including Carl Linnaeus and René Descartes. The Dutch language is spoken throughout the Netherlands. The standard Dutch language is used in schools and for official purposes. The country is divided into 12 parts, each with its own provincial council. Christianity came to the Netherlands in 690 AD when Wallboard spoke about Christianity in the country (Seward & Lal, 1939). In the field of transport, the Netherlands are really creative! They have a system of canals to allow goods and passengers to cross the river (Seward & Lal, 1939). Dutch food tastes amazing! Seward and Lal (1939) stated that the Netherlands has a large quantity of potatoes, onions and carrots, spinach and peas, squash, white beans and green vegetables (some for the salad). They also said that the Netherlands is full of fish and seafood, including trout and shrimp. The national drink of the Dutch is called genever, a gin. Anyone who wants light drinks can enjoy beer, wine or fruit-based liquids. The Netherlands has an incredible history! These were once three tribal groups. The Franks controlled the Netherlands from the 4th to 8th centuries, until it became part of Charlemagne's empire in the 8th and 9th centuries.
