CHAPTER TWO: LITERATURE REVIEW 2.0 INTRODUCTION Literature review can be considered as a written text that describes important points of contemporary knowledge, including substantive conclusions as well as the methodological and theoretical conclusions of a particular field. The review of the literature on the subject is a secondary source of information because it does not provide an original or new experimental task. Handicraft Sector Handicraft sector refers to the field of business which is simply concerned with making useful decorative devices by completely using hands or applying simple devices. Generally, this term applies to the traditional way of producing products. The actual craftsmanship of the product is a vital principle, such objects most of the time carry cultural as well as religious implications. Goods produced using machines or by mass production should not be confused with handicrafts. What differentiates crafts from the oft-used category of arts and crafts is a matter of intention. Artisanal products are made, used, worn, to name just a few, for purposes beyond simple decoration. Crafts in general are considered to have more of a traditional vocation.
