It has been recognized as the most effective way of management than using the transactional approach. Burns' 1978 theory suggested that transformational leadership style stimulates and promotes employee motivation to perform their jobs effectively. The theory further suggests that transformational leadership occurs when employees engage with their managers and colleagues in such a way that both leaders and subordinates are enhanced with motivation, morale and inspire positive change in them. which follow.
