Women's Work “Working women are guinea pigs in a scientific experiment designed to show that sleep is not necessary for human life,” mentions grinning.com . Women work twice as hard. Unlike man, after a long day of work, he can come home and rest. Women cannot do this because they have responsibility for family affairs which continue throughout the day, so their work never ends. Julia Alvarez's fiction poetry, "Woman's Work," describes how women are able to resist physical type labor. Further, through this six-stanza poem, Julia Alvarez explains how the search for a better opportunity is the path to success. Who says a woman's work isn't great art? “She would challenge you by scrubbing the bathroom tiles” / Guard the house as if the address were your heart (Read 1-3). The first stanza of the poem gives the main idea, it basically mentions that women's work is not as efficient as men's. The majority of women, such as single mothers or students, have to cope with all the jobs offered to them just to be able to support their loved ones or to pay for their education and living expenses. In other situations, some women have their partner or parents to help them. take them out, so they can spend time enjoying their lives and their families. Looking for a new career is a great idea, but being your own boss would be considered a great goal. Life puts you on difficult paths where you will need a helping hand, but let's face it, the real world is a "clock", every move counts, even if it's a mistake, it won't stop no and there is no going back. Never give up because someone says you can't do it! The woman will sacrifice everything to keep the family together and never see it fall.
