He says that as long as a statement can be refuted, we are right to doubt it, no matter how many people believe it or how long they have believed it . This got me thinking about how in today's society people mostly follow what is considered "acceptable." While reading, I came across a sentence that said: "What should worry us is not the number of people who oppose us, but the quality of their reasons for doing so." We should therefore shift our attention from the presence of unpopularity to its explanations.” (P. 29) This means that it should not matter how many people oppose our decisions if the reasoning behind them is weak.
