Jacob RodriguezMr. KrobPer. 5EnglishMarch 7, 2014Sex Trafficking ProposalThe booming business of “Spreading Love,” or more commonly known as sex trafficking, has engulfed the world with its so-called love. This booming business has spread faster than a wildfire. The world as we know it is crumbling under countless trafficked women and men right now. With all the other problems in the world, this is just another problem to pile on. Sex trafficking is a scourge that has spread across the world. Today, human trafficking exists in every country, state, city, and country (USCIS). It is a billion-dollar multinational corporation, sustainable and ruthless. This form of illegal and immoral exploitation enslaves 2.5 million people from 127 different countries every year around the world. The average age of these victims is eighteen to twenty-four years old (Petriliggieri). According to the U.S. government, a 2006 study found that more than 800,000 people were trafficked across national borders, but that doesn't even include people trafficked within our own countries. About eighty percent of the captives are women and girls forced into prostitution and brutal sexual violence (human trafficking). A total of $44.3 billion annually is generated by this inhumane and heinous act of injustice against ordinary people (human trafficking). The effects of this corrupt enterprise are undeniably painful and frightening. In ordinary societies, women are demeaned and objectified excessively; inflicting unimaginable pain on them is hardly considered conflict. The physical, emotional, and mental distortion and destruction caused by violence lasts forever. Insane fear, agony of chaos... middle of paper ... which will rapidly decrease the population by a huge amount in all countries, China would be saved! Traffic will be beneficial in all respects. In conclusion, while the world tries to come together to end global crises, we are drastically failing. What we need is hope, and with the money generated from human trafficking, hope can be gained. This proposal solves the world's problems on an astronomical scale. There will be no unemployment if we take a stand and put this project in motion. The sex trade opens up many jobs, products and consumers to pay for their services. This proposal is not for the personal gain of any human being, but for the betterment of our people, our society, our government and the strengthening of our economic growth and our state. A modest proposal for the benefit of the general public, foreign nations and the neglected children of today's world.
