The Internet has a greater impact on people in society than ever before. Social media allows social networking to happen extremely efficiently. Not only has social media affected my life, but it has also had countless pros and cons. One of the main impacts of social media on my life is and still is communication and socializing. Social media provides me a platform to easily interact with everyone. With advances in technology, communication is easier than ever. Online communication through social media, email, and Facetime has taken over the world. Having all my family in Poland, communication is what keeps us in touch via social media. Instead of waiting weeks to receive a letter from my family in Poland, a message via Facebook is much faster. The security aspect is a huge aspect that concerns communication.
