    Sexual assault is a major public health issue and social concern worldwide. Sexual assault is defined as “any sexual act, attempt to obtain a sexual act, unwanted sexual comments or advances, or an act of trafficking in a person's sexuality, through the use of coercion, threats of harm or physical force, by any person, regardless of their ties to the victim. , in any setting, including, but not limited to, home and work” (World Health Organization [WHO], 2002). According to the National Violence Against Women Survey (NVAWS), 1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men have been the target of an attempted or sexual assault (Tjaden and Thonennes, 2000). The increasing number of sexual assault cases, coupled with its long-term negative consequences, has led to an increased emphasis on its intervention. Given the magnitude of these problems, effective prevention programs are essential. Despite the increase in recent research, little is known about the overall success of these programs, as the evidence supporting the effectiveness of these programs remains weak and is sometimes inconsistent (^^all references cited with results). The aim of the current review is to examine the effectiveness of programs that have incorporated psychological theory into curriculum development in terms of structure and content for audiences. (why this theory) It is therefore essential to address the challenges so that the centers carrying out these interventions can customize their programs accordingly so that lasting changes in attitude or behavior can be observed. This review also explored variables that may predict the effectiveness of these programs and broaden the investigation into intervention impact.
