After looking at many different options in the film industry, I found being a producer to be the most appealing. Ferguson's professional guidance defines a producer as "A producer brings together all the elements of a film, such as a story or material, the writer(s), a director, the actors and the production and editing crew. He or she then makes sure they have everything they need to complete the film-making process. When I read this, I found it incredibly appealing. It made my heart race a little to be a part of it. The main activities involved as a producer are bringing together the most important elements of the storytelling process, such as the director, screenwriter, and other essential personnel. , while raising funds. To be honest, assembling a team of talented storytellers appealed to me much more than raising the funds to make the film. I would like to know more about this process as I am not good at sales, but I think if it was a project that I was passionate about and truly believed in, I could share it with others and hopefully -the, convince them to invest in the production of history. The working conditions of a producer are very interactive and can be stressful. As a producer, you control every aspect of creating a film. My work style in my rating was 49, which puts me exactly in the middle of the spectrum for working with others or working alone. I think this would be beneficial for a producer who will have to supervise a team of people but also make a lot of decisions and oversee other things on their own. The places where this type of work can most often be found are in New York and Los Angeles, I believe. that I am most attracted to smaller, more independent type films with ...... middle of paper ...... monitoring, speaking, coordination, critical thinking, writing, d Active listening, reading, time management, decision making and problem solving are things that I can tackle head on and with which I am comfortable. I think that my sensitive and affectionate personality as well as my strong desire to work well with others would be of great use in this job, but I think that I will have to develop the ability to not be afraid to make difficult decisions and to hurt people's feelings. I believe that Produce would not satisfy all of my creative desires, but would cover a wide range of them. I'm very excited about continuing this form of involvement in filmmaking in the future, thanks in large part to the research I did to write this article. After considering all this information, I think being a film producer is something one could be happy doing..
