Politics has been widely studied by generations of people. The main reason for this tedious study is to know how a country is governed and run. Politics, by definition, refers to activities associated with the governance of a country or region. Other definition of politics is the activities of governments concerning political relations between countries. Learning about politics gives an individual an idea of what is happening in the country in which they reside. By being well informed about politics, a citizen is more aware of what is happening around him in relation to his country. Additionally, a person who knows politics will understand what is happening in other countries surrounding their home country. If war were to break out, a person knowledgeable in politics will understand precisely why the war started as well as the actions that led to the war. Prisoners are also taken for political reasons. This is another action that will be understood by someone who understands politics. When someone fully understands politics, they understand all the actions that are happening in the world around them. These actions can be exercised by a country as a whole, but they are understood by many individuals who study politics. The government is considered the governing body of a nation, state or community. It is also the system by which a nation, state or community is governed. When one knows his own government, he knows all the legalities of his nation, state, or community. They know what is considered legal and illegal and what laws are being passed. There will always be disagreements and wars, as well as corruption and madness. Disease and genocide will always plague the world too. By allowing our minds to change our politics through utopian thoughts, we could potentially slow the flow of these negative actions. Ultimately, our utopian thoughts could change the world as we know it for the better. Our dreams of utopia may come true, but we will always remember the state of being we currently find ourselves in. Throughout history, we have recorded the past to try to prevent ourselves from repeating wrongs in the future. Perhaps this is another step we have taken to form our future utopia through our utopian thoughts, but for today we live in this contemporary world in which we find ourselves placed..
