Important FactsThe official name of Mexico is The United Mexican States. It is a country in North America and has a population of 120 million. It has borders with the United States of America, Belize, Guatemala, the Pacific and the Caribbean Sea. The capital of Mexico is Mexico City. Central Mexico City, or Mexico City (utt. Mekjikå de effe), has fewer than 9 million residents, but all of Mexico City has more than 21 million residents. Some of the largest cities are Mexico City, Ecatepec, Guadalajara and Tijuana.
