I knew there was this problem especially in the south, mainly because I lived most of my childhood in the south. I know there is a lot of racial tension in the United States, but it's worse in the south. How does this film relate to your life? The film is about my life because as the daughter of a rape victim and as a mother, I can empathize with the characters in the film. I sympathize with the little girl because she is only a few years younger than my mother when she was raped. I feel for the child and wonder how long and difficult his recovery will be. I also empathize with her father, because as a parent I can imagine how difficult it was for him to walk into his home, see how hurt his daughter was, hear what had been done to her and the severity of his injuries. changes would you like to see in society as a result of this film? I wish everyone was treated the same, that everyone realized that no matter the color of your skin or what god you believe in, are things that are wrong to do to others, no matter who they are. It didn't matter that the little girl was black, it was wrong of them to rape her. I know things like this don't happen as much anymore, but there are still hate crimes that I think are
