  • Essay / The importance of becoming a teenager in my life - 748

My mother didn't get her license until she was forty, so she only had ten years of experience but more time to help me learn to drive. My grandfather still suggested that I learn the basics from a driving instructor, so after a phone call I attended six weeks of driving school. Learning in someone else's car is a lot different than learning at your parents' house, but the instructor made me feel comfortable and had a way of letting you know if you can do better at something without giving yourself the impression that you will never succeed and that you want to stop and always keep positive thoughts. Due to my age, I had to take driving training for six months. It seemed like an eternity, but during that time there were a lot of things about driving that I didn't learn, but playing those video games I have to admit they helped me learn. feel comfortable with the steering and with the pressure to apply on the accelerator. Once I passed my driving test, grateful that my parents and my driving instructor taught me correctly, I can now drive a vehicle alone for the first time. Life as I knew it will now be different. I no longer need to rely on someone to drive me, but now I had to be an adult because driving involves responsibility, not only to myself but to everyone around.
