    Columbian Exchange or the Great Exchange was a large exchange on a wide range of animals (horses, chickens, sheep, pigs, turkeys), plants (wheat, barley, corn, beans, tomatoes), people and culture, infectious diseases and ideas, technology (wheeled vehicles, iron tools, metallurgy), all of these things happened between Native Americans and Europeans after Columbus' voyage in 1492. This resulted in communication between the two cultures to initiate a number of cultures that led to the increase in population in both hemispheres, where explorers returned to Europe laden with corn, tomatoes and potatoes, which became one of the main crops of Eurasia with the solutions of the 18th century.
