The conflicts between the Soviet Union and America in their worldviews played a major role in the creation of the Cold War. The two countries were allies during World War II against the Nazis, but their alliance began to crumble as the war ended, sparking numerous conflicts for the Cold War. Countries have noticed many differences in the way they operate. For example, America proposed a more capitalist economic approach, while the Soviet Union wanted more control over its people and less freedom. Both countries wanted to surpass each other by achieving things such as creating new and better military devices or new technological advancements.
