After graduating, a life-changing event happened to my family. My family was fortunate to immigrate to the United States. But after all the procedures, I discovered that I could not immigrate with my family because I was then over the age limit as a dependent. To fulfill my dream, I decided to pursue my medical career outside my country, which would help me strengthen my knowledge and improve my medical experience. My research led me to choose Jamaica as a country to seek further medical skills and improve my abilities to manage stress in unexpected situations.
