    These days, the Common Core Standards seem to be a hot topic of discussion across the country. People around the world have heard these three words and have their own opinions on the effectiveness of this initiative that is impacting students, teachers, administrators and communities across the United States. The Common Core is a new set of learning standards that detail what K-12 students nationwide should know in math and English by the end of each school year. Although these learning standards aim to provide clear and consistent standards of education, there is significant resistance to their implementation. Many of those who are opposed to these new standards are not necessarily opposed to them, but rather to their rollout and implementation because of the negative effect they have on students. The Common Core is a new curriculum adopted by states. throughout the country. Another method of telling the time is that there will be a set time on the clock face and they will need to write down what it says. The clock will say 12:30 on the clock face and they should write 12:30. To help them solve their problems, they are given a small plastic analog clock with moving hands.
