    To disclose or not to disclose? This question usually arises at the start of a new relationship, a new job, or when meeting a new friend. Revelations also happen with people we have known for a while. Researchers define self-disclosure as sharing information with others that they would not normally know or discover. My beliefs reside in each of us. Everyone has their own way of defining self-disclosure. My definition of self-disclosure is letting go and trusting the person I am revealing it to. This is where I draw the line and return to the question I asked previously. Do I trust this person enough to know my deepest secrets? Is it worth the risk?
