Upper class is a term for “high-income households [who] had incomes above $125,608” (Richard Fry and Rakesh Kochhar, Pew Research Center). Using Kendall Jenner as a model in its advertising gives current and potential consumers the idea that owning something from Calvin Klein means you are rich because it is a brand that celebrities wear and support. This makes the product very attractive to teenagers trying to impress their
