    After watching a herd of buffalo react to a crisis in a video segment called "The Battle of Kruger", I realized that group cohesion was perfectly exemplified by a herd of buffalo . In the video, the buffalo are grazing in a field. A pride of lions awaits them. As with most predatory species, lions look for the best opportunity to feed. When buffaloes first encounter them, their initial instinct is to disperse or react individually. This is when the baby buffalo becomes vulnerable as the lions catch up and take him down. To make matters worse, the lions trap him near a body of water where crocodiles are hiding. the crocodile for the one who dines. The pride of lions emerges victorious from the crocodile and recovers the baby buffalo. However, the most amazing thing happens, the herd returns for itself. As the music video progresses, viewers are present. the background keeps exclaiming, "It's too late! You're too late!" It's a pile of lion dogs on top of a helpless young buffalo and all hope seems lost. But the herd shows cohesion and returns to get the baby with a few courageous people confronting the lions directly. The baby does its part and struggles to free itself and runs to safety among the herd. What seemed like an impossible situation becomes a great victory. This is an example where having a “herd mentality” can be a good thing for a buffalo. can come together cohesively and function well in extreme circumstances, people certainly can too. The purpose of this article is to explore how cohesion forms and how it affects performance. Regardless of how team cohesion is ensured by the organization, it is to the extent that the team contributes to the overall good of the group that the better the group will perform, which in turn has a positive effect on the overall objectives of the organization..
