It is extended to 53 countries and in 2013 employed around 116,000 people. It is ranked as the second largest clothing retailer in the world. It generated $18.13 billion in revenue in 2013. It has 3,100 stores worldwide. Most stores are in Germany, UK, USA, France, Spain and Sweden. Stores are present on all continents.Vision: H&M's business operations aim to operate in a socially, economically and environmentally sustainable manner. By sustainable, they mean that the needs of present and future generations must be met. Mission Statement: H&M's goal is to offer its customers fashion and quality at the best price. H&M believes that quality is more important than meeting or exceeding customer expectations. It continually strives to improve its products by manufacturing in good working conditions and with limited impact on the environment. History of H&M: ➢ 1947: Opening of the first store in Västerås, Sweden, selling women's clothing .
