    A long time ago there was no need for health insurance in America because doctors had many clients because their services were not that expensive and in some Cases, in rural areas, people could pay by donating other items. Doctors were not as skilled at treating the sick as they are today, so it did not have much effect on the patients, as they were treated for basic illnesses. As medicine gradually advanced with new medical technologies that could only be used in hospitals, doctors began charging more, which was unaffordable for most people. Over time, all this began to change as the industrialization of the American economy led families and people to rely on the services of doctors and hospitals for health care. . In 1929, a system was created in Dallas, Texas (1) that charged everyone the same. This insurance was to alleviate the health care problem and create a happy scenario for both doctors and patients, in which employers added health to employment programs to boost the workforce due to the shortage after the Second World War. Soon other private insurance companies entered the market, creating competition as costs were determined by several factors leaving out the sick and insuring the healthy. Health care problems were compounded because although some employers included health care benefits, these expired after they retired. While the poor, self-employed, or those working for employers unable to provide insurance did not have health insurance. These issues needed to be addressed effectively and not just temporarily, but for the future. Although insurance has been around for centuries, Sidney R.
