Essay / Born gay? ...God doesn't make mistakes! - 837
God has declared, through his goodness and justice, how much he appreciates heterosexual relationships, as the Creator of man and woman. God created a woman from Adam's rib so that Adam would not be alone. Once the creation of woman was complete, God asked Adam to give her a name; Adam said she would be called woman because she was created with a man's rib, but her name will be Eve because she is the first woman. So it pleased God and we had our first marriage. A wedding where men and women meet. They were creatively designed by God to fit together. God did not create man to sleep with another man, because their bodies are not designed to fit or complement each other. Adam was instructed by God not to eat from the tree of knowledge and as the head of marriage; it was his responsibility to uphold God's commandment. Yet he failed and ate from the tree with Eve. And later that day, as God was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, he called to Adam. Adam and Eve hid from Him, because they knew they had ruined everything. When God asked Adam why he ate from the tree, Adam blamed Eve. God is just and righteous and he loves us all. Even when they sinned against God, God loved them and clothed them in animal skins. In order for Him to provide the animal skins, He had to kill the animal. When God performed this act, the blood shed by the animal covered the trace of its sin. Since then, it was He who performed the first marriage in creation and it contained a man and a woman. God did not later change His mind to approve of sex with someone of the same sex as you. It is because we live in a fallen world and have a sinful nature that we think God will ignore this. If God couldn't overlook Adams and Eve's disobedience in eating from the forbidden tree, how do you think He will overlook the sin of homosexuality? I guarantee you He will not ignore it because God did not perform same-sex marriage. When God removed Adam and Eve from the garden and placed them elsewhere outside the garden, it was because God could not allow sin to live in His holiness..
