Using the observation method, a wide variety of behaviors can be recorded. Digging through trash cans on the side of the road can reveal the behavior of fast food customers, or sitting for just an hour at the university canteen can understand gender differences in choosing a (diet) meal, or even observe the customer's behavior to decide which one. yogurt that is to be removed from supermarket shelves may also answer the question: are customers attracted by its appearance, flavor, price, brand or nutrition? The aim of this observation mission is to evaluate and explain the different types of interactions between the individuals and groups present, as well as the environment in which these interactions take place. The field observation was conducted at the Vietnamese fast-food restaurant “We love Banhmi” in Budapest, and the role adopted was that of an observer as a non-participant. Group structures as well as overall activity, behavior patterns, and the duration and timing of these behaviors and interactions were observed and recorded. Sociological concepts relating to age, gender and appearance were also noted and applied. The reason “We love Banhmi” was chosen as the ideal viewing location is due to its location: very close to Astoria, making it accessible to local members. such as students, businessmen as well as travelers and visitors. With its reputation for traditional sandwich and other tasty Vietnamese street foods as well as its quick service process, the restaurant is becoming more and more popular and attracting customers from different cultural backgrounds to come and taste Vietnamese cuisine. No alcoholic beverages are sold here. It's also supposed to be a pretty inexpensive place... middle of paper... or fun and games. Within this family structure, children learn the different power relationships between their parents, such that Mom may become the disciplinarian, while Dad may become another playmate. In addition to male physical domination, economic superiority is manifested each time the male, whether it is the boyfriend of the intimate couple, or the father of the family, who paid the bill, rather than the woman. Throughout the 1.5 hour observation, extensive data was collected and stored for further investigation. Gender roles and power/authority were the two sociological concepts observed and applied to the analysis of this particular study. The four group forms examined were intimate couples, friends, single people and families. Field observation focused on the comparison between the interactions of these different groups.
