It could be a simple game of Truth or Dare, Spin the Bottle or simply the presence of a bottle of beer is enough to make someone unintentionally want to to try it and take a sip. What peer pressure really affects is how students are taught academically. It causes teenagers to submit to the image that society wants them to look like and not be able to express their ideas or way of being themselves and to submit to the popular group just to feel . included and accepted. Many of these things usually start between preadolescence and young adulthood. Simply forcing someone to try something they don't want to do is unacceptable. Girls are pressured to look “pretty” to fit society’s standards. The way you dress determines whether you will be judged in a good or bad way. Adopting a new hairstyle or way of wearing your hair will make someone feel different and unusual, sometimes in a bad way. The fact is, most of the time, no one really cares how you look or behave. Most teenagers have low self-esteem and will want to make sure everyone approves of them. This usually happens more in girls than in girls.
