People often evaluate personality traits based on physical characteristics, but is it humanity if you use ethnicity to determine the innocence of others? There should be no allegation involving race to prosecute anyone. Some of the important questions people ask are about how discrimination affects people's lives and how it should be avoided. There are many causes related to racism/racial profiling. Racial profiling is a major problem occurring all over the world. Racial discrimination is taking actions or holding beliefs that classify different races as superior or inferior. It relies largely on shared hereditary traits and the color of your skin. We know that this upsets innocent people. Our color should not be used to judge others and condemn them whether they are guilty or not. Racial profiling occurs when people consider your skin color to convince someone that they have committed a crime. Numerous cases prove that racial discrimination in the justice system is un-American and unproductive. Racial profiling and discrimination occurs not only in the justice system, but also at airports, at traffic stops, in schools and even in public stores. Federal law enforcement agencies even suspect distinct ethnic groups of criminal activity based on...... middle of paper ... origin. George Bush exclaimed: "Racial profiling is wrong and we will end it in America." In doing so, we will not hinder the work of our country's courageous police officers. They protect us every day – often at the risk of their lives. But by ending the abuses of a few, we will strengthen the public trust our police officers deserve.
