    In the neighborhood I live in, it's in Koreatown/Wilshire Center and I haven't experienced much crime, which is also part the neighborhood's low crime rate. Additionally, the police presence here in my neighborhood is very light and relations with the police are normal. The only time the police will be serious is if the crime is too dangerous and concern for the neighborhood comes first. It's also different from its depiction of gang violence and the presence in the neighborhood I live in is very light, unlike other neighborhoods in Los Angeles. The difference is also that the race in the area is different and made up of mostly Asians and Whites with whom we have a friendly relationship with little to no disruption when it comes to crime and gang violence. This also includes that poverty in the neighborhood I live in is very light and there are not many poor people in the area. This also differs from the community which is very friendly and not everyone is so careful or worried. If there is a crime, we will be informed in advance to be prepared for security issues. Based on Victor Rios' description, the neighborhood is almost similar to a few neighborhoods in Los Angeles such as East Los Angeles and the Compton neighborhood of Los Angeles.
