    The revolution is a change in the already existing system. A revolution is defined more by its results and identified as a revolution once it has begun. A revolution brings about instantaneous changes that might have taken hundreds of years, but triggered change automatically. In most political revolutions, violence is usually involved. The French Revolution and the Russian Revolution are examples of this. Non-political movements that produce revolutionary changes are also referred to as revolutions because of the change they have brought in history. The Scientific Revolution, Enlightenment and Industrial Revolution are obvious towards revolution because of the size of the altar they caused to the world. The Enlightenment was a link to the Scientific Revolution; like the scientific revolution, the Enlightenment implied a new state of mind for society.
