Introduction: What is globalization? : According to Merriam Webster, the dictionary definition of globalization states that it is “the act or process of globalization,” but what does globalization mean? Once again, looking at the Merriam Webster Dictionary, it refers to it as "to make (something) cover, involve, or affect the whole world." So what does it all mean, and how, does it “involve or affect the whole world”? , » concern our economy as a whole? Think of globalization as international trade. International trade helps connect to the process of interaction and integration between us across the world. This sounds like what a unanimous culture would be like. Although this describes globalization generally, remember that globalization itself has a fairly broad definition. But keep in mind that it not only affects economic development itself, but also our physical well-being, our quality of life and the society around it. What globalization means for the United States (pros and cons): There have been many political and economic changes. The consequences of globalization have many advantages and disadvantages, and they are of two different signs. One sign or vision could be a sign of a hopeful future, but the other sign or vision could be a sign of disaster for our global economy. For example, today, corporations have become agents of globalism or what they would call “cultural imperialism.” This new form of both political and economic domination has led many critics to argue that any business enterprise capable of manipulating personal tastes will prosper, but that state authorities around the world will lose control of the distribution of goods and services. However, if we want the world to continue living under globalization, we must realize that some updates are necessary in order to change the path that globalization is taking us in matters of culture, human rights, etc. the world benefits from the means of globalization.
