Laser triangulation technique is used to find the depth of any object. Also finding the angle between the incident laser beam and the reflected ray captured by the webcam is also one of the critical problems in 3D laser scanning. A simple procedure is proposed to find precisely the same thing. The design of the scanner is simple, involving simple trigonometry to find depth. Its range is small but the accuracy is relatively high compared to the time-of-flight technique. The price of the components used also affects the accuracy of the laser scanner. The scanner we proposed eliminates the need for two lasers, two web cameras and motion calibration.
