Holiday shopping, for me, is a nightmare because of the abundance of crowds, all the fighting and competitiveness. I think these last minute buyers are the worst, they are the ones who are rude and impatient. For some people, who have a lot of patience, dealing with holiday shoppers is a good experience. For people like me, who have very little patience, it is a terrible experience. Another aspect of holiday shopping involves tired, overworked and frustrated employees. They are just trying to finish their work as quickly as possible, so they can go home to their families. Meanwhile, you have employees who are cheerful and eager to help clueless shoppers. Plus, during the holidays, horrible accidents can happen often this time of year. I will describe the dangers and mishaps that can occur while on vacation. I'm not anti-vacation, but the older I get, the more I have no desire to be exposed to all the potential chaos. I have unfortunately seen first hand the staff, customers and staff in action. I was at Wal-Mart for a few years...
