Essay / Sigmund Freud and Essay on Beauty - 1693
At this stage of Beauty's development, she has now somehow resolved all of Freud's psychosexual stages, while living with the results of these stages that she became slightly obsessed with. The genital phase begins at puberty and continues throughout Beauty's life. Luckily for the beauty, she's only nineteen, so she still has a lot left to experience. In earlier stages, the focus was on individual needs, which involved seeking immediate pleasure and gratitude for oneself, whereas today the focus is on the well-being of others. The beauty has now grown into a young adult who not only focuses on her own happiness, but also takes into consideration the happiness of those who matter to her. The goal of the genital phase is to create balance between different aspects of life. Being a full-time student with a part-time job and participating in extracurricular activities on campus, Beauty develops a sense of balance and thrives in her reign of independence.
