Introductory Approach, Mission Statement and PhilosophyPeace over Violence Organization's approach is to manage crisis intervention, violence, prevention and education adapted to women, young people and children, and by natural extension, to men. . They listen, advise, support, guide and work to heal survivors of violence and stand at the center of a social movement that inspires individuals, groups and society to oppose violence. The mission statement reads: “To build healthy relationships, families and communities free from sexual, domestic and interpersonal violence” (Peace Over Violence). Some philosophical aspects of Peace Over Violence include working to improve the quality of life for all in a patriarchal society that places low priority on the concerns of women and children, providing services that inform the community about the problem of violence , to propose interventions. and supporting its survivors and promoting social change through activism, requires a strong commitment to the community, a lot of perseverance and the faith that one day we will celebrate the fact that our services are no longer needed and that violence is preventable ( Peace Over Violence).Scope of ServicesPeace Over Violence provides the following emergency, intervention, prevention, education and advocacy services. Emergency services provide victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking with emotional support, compassion, accompaniment, a crisis line, referral services and advocacy (Peace Over Violence).
