Antigone and Creon are the main and wisest actors in the play Antigone. They are both passionate about their beliefs and values. Stubbornness plays a key role in conflict, as they do not try to reach an agreement or agree. Although they have opposing opinions, a compromise is always possible because they both highly value the gods. They also strongly believe in loyalty and are true to their beliefs. Antigone believed that Polyneices should have the respectful burial he deserves because it is something one needs to be with the gods.
