    There are many unresolved problems in many African countries, but the issue of rising corruption is worrying, and the repairs it has brought to the political system are vast. Fear of fraud leads to restrictions on the circulation of documents in offices, slowed traffic on highways, congestion at ports, ghost worker syndrome, queues at passport offices, extortion from police to toll booths and gas stations, to election irregularities, among others. Even the crazy people on the road remember the devastation caused by corruption: the funds allocated for their success disappear into the pockets of some people. Thus, some believe that corruption is the scourge of many African countries. Corruption is the main obstacle to the slowdown and growth of the African economy.
