Two individuals may seem similar in appearance and appearance, but it is the inner character and various qualities of a person that distinguish two people. Many have the idea that since two people have the same external identity, they will both get along and be best friends. However, this is where the dilemma arises. George Orwell, author of Animal Farm, writes a story about two pigs named Snowball and Napoleon and how their bond is destroyed due to disagreements and jealousy towards each other, which later causes a eruption on the farm. Animal Farm is an allegory of the Russian Revolution which occurred between 1905 and lasted until 1917 due to the controversies that took place between the Bolsheviks and the Russian government. All characters in Animal Farm can be represented as individuals from Russian history. Animal Farm is the story of two pigs Snowball and Napoleon who want direct power over the farm when Old Major, a respected figure, dies. Snowball identifies what is good for the farm, but Napoleon and his jealousy drive him from the farm, leading the farm to head down the false path of communism and dictatorship. Snowball and Napoleon have many inner differences and many outer similarities, some of which include treatment of animals, leadership styles, and urge to seek power/animalism (communism). When the old major dies on the farm, it's up to Snowball and Napoleon to make sure the farm and other animals are well taken care of. Napoleon treats animals very ruthlessly because he wishes to be... middle of paper ...... ball treats them with respect and considers them as his own while Napoleon is brutal to animals and treats them like garbage regardless of how they both want to take care of the animals. Snowball and Napoleon are also very different in their leadership styles. Snowball usually wins through his brilliant speeches while Napoleon wants to take back the farm using dictatorship, but ultimately they both want their own ideas retained on the farm. Snowball and Napoleon also have different ways of seeking power, Snowball appeals to animals through his speeches and detailed ideas while Napoleon uses propaganda to seek power but in the end they both achieve their goal of animalism .
