  • Essay / Denver International Airport Conspiracy - 2111

There is no doubt that an elaborate underground base exists beneath the Denver International Airport. What's really going on down there in this base, however, remains a mystery. Taking a closer look at this airfield, it's obvious that something weird is going on. “While the most extreme claim holds that there is a massive underground facility beneath the airport where an alien race of reptilian humanoids prey on missing children while awaiting the date of the government-sponsored abduction” ( Maher 4). This extreme statement simply shows what the human mind can conceive when coincidence and the unknown collide. The research is over, is there a conspiracy or is this just exaggerated. The construction of Denver International Airport (DIA) has led many theorists to dub it “Area 52.” Getting such a strange name would justify something strange happening within the airport, and indeed it is. As Hayes points out, "five large buildings were built from scratch and were later found to be incorrectly positioned – unusually, they were buried and the current airport was built on the 'incorrect' structures" (Hayes 1 ). More often than not, if a building was not constructed correctly, the contractor would simply demolish it and start from scratch instead of going to the trouble of burying it. Why, then, was this not done? “In total, there are more than 6 million square feet of public space at DIA. The airport boasts the possibility of building another terminal and two additional concourses and could accommodate 100 million passengers per year. The airport transported 50.5 million people in 2008” (Anomalies Illimitées 3). There's no need for that much space in an airport, especially when they're only flying half the number of people who are flying in the middle of a sheet of paper. Find out what these paintings really represent. In recent years they have been repainted and redone in some areas, so something needs to be found before there are no more paints left. Could there really be aliens eating missing children or is the Nazi regime preparing to return and establish their base under Denver Airport. There's a base beneath DIA, but could Leo Tanguma's paintings provide a glimpse of what lies within the vast buildings? “Numerous investigators directly questioned airport officials in an attempt to dispel the myriad rumors—but officials proved evasive and secretive, fueling the conspiratorial fires” (Hayes 1). No one really knows what's going on at DIA, only guesses. So take these facts for what they're worth and decide what's going on at the mysterious Denver International Airport..
